Ah... Here we are... just a copy & paste from my previous blog.
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by Zondervan.)Powered by BibleGateway.com
Had quite some fun this morning with Connie... 'with' meaning teasing... Had to give them credit this time... The principal's Award trophy was quite nice with its changing colours effect.
It even had quite some weight in it!
After the ceremony, I took some pics.(with Janice, Afiqah, CP & May Kuan.)
Then we were home-bound.
*Amos(Ang Jian) was literally ogling at the dancers with his mouth wide open!! Heheh..
Reaching home, went out to lunch with dad. Then, I plopped onto the bed and napped. Later, church practice.
I realize that I've been late for quite some stuff these few days. Not good. What's more, I still dare say that they haven't started when I just arrived. I guess my ego just has to put the blame on others, eh?
Inviting my friends to church all this while has left me disappointed at being rejected. Nevertheless, there's hope yet! Looking at this positively, having been rejected so many times leaves me appreciating their presence all the more when they DO make it! WOOHOO! I just LOVE looking at things positively, heheh... Crikey!
"To laugh is to risk appearing the fool
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach our for another is to risk involvement
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self
To place your ideas, your dreams before a crowd is to risk their loss
To love is to risk not being loved in return
To live is to risk dying
To hope is to risk despair
To try is to risk failure
But risks must be taken, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing
The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, and is nothing
They may avoid suffering and sorrow but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, live
Chained by their certitudes they are a slave, the have forfeited their freedom
Only a person who risks is free,"
