The Great Singapore Sale is on!! CP, Elden and I went shopping together this previous Thursday as CP only had that day off. Vesak Day.

Started off at the PC Show. Now if you've never been to a PC Show, you have no idea how MUCH PCs are becoming a necessity in one's life now...

Dunno whether you can see from this pic but it was so packed inside that ppl sat OUTSIDE the exhibition hall, checking out the prices and everything on the brochures...

See how packed it is? On the first day alone, 150,000 ppl came and spent S$2m already... They hope to break last year's record of 800,000 visitors, which they claim is quite probable seeing the rise of GST in July.

Despite not buying anything, CP and I were fulfilled having fun being part of the crowd and experiencing sth very Singaporean. Hahah... Kiasu what... Got discount still don't go meh...

From Suntec, we took a bus to our next destination, Mustafa Centre. It's the first time we took this bus with an extra 'body' behind it and we were so excited(like some sam1 ba1 lao3) we decided to sit at the extended body to see how it feels like...

Notice the part where it extends? It's like a worm when the bus turns... heheh..... Cool...

I have nothing to tell you about on our visit to Mustafa except this Myrrh incense sticks that I bought to bring back to Miri. Heehee.. They HAD Frankincense 'flavour' too! Next stop, Sim Lim Square. This cranky bus driver told us it's just two stops down from this bus stop that we wanted to take a bus from so we had to walk... TWO bus stops down. Mind you, it was hot! And shopping's supposed to be done INDOORS, with AIR-CONDITIONERS!! How else do you expect girls to survive hours of the gruelling exercise?

Nothing much to report. Just this really tiny CPU, I'm sure you've seen it already? The Acer one? Around the height of 2 canned drinks only eh...

These blocks of buildings were located right behind Sim Lim Tower. Found 'em rather interesting so took a pic of it. Like CP said... "Singaporeans have nothing better to do" Heheh... I think they're just colourful ppl!

Now THIS sign here we found in an MRT station. I'm surprised they didn't include a "FINE $500.00" or sth warning tho. Heheh.. So interesting... Teachers tried advising the kids and it don't work so they turned the problem over to the government and this is how it's settled. Heheh....

This here is a shot of the Victoria Strings Ensemble concert that took place last night(01/06/07) at VJC Performance Theatre(PT). A night of great music with theme songs of Superman, Harry Potter, PotC:Dead Man's Chest and a 45-minute long classical piece by Tchaikovsky! I feel civilized!!!
