11 Feb 2008 (Monday) Of Ego and Thoughts

Ego is a big problem that should be tackled in our world.
If no one had ego problems, we would be using more of our brains for gd stuff like actually asking and learning stuff than wondering how others would think of us for asking.
If no one had ego problems, we would be able to make others' lives better by not HAVING to put them down despite KNOWING that they deserve praise.(And in the process not helping ourselves too.)
If no one had ego problems, there would be so many more innovations and creations thanks to the many ppl's ideas which weren't rejected the moment they said,"I think..."
If no one had ego problems, there would be so much LESS misunderstanding between ppl. If one thought sth was wrong, one would just say it straight to the other's face and clear things up.
If no one had ego problems, games would really be just that - GAMES. Not a battle to see who is superior and deserving of respect, which eventually leads to more conflicts.
If no one had ego problems, saying sorry to one another would be so easy and tensions would be relieved so much faster.(Especially to a family member/relative/loved one.)

That apart, bcos of ego, ppl(men especially) are only impressed when someone does sth HIM/herself can't do. A musician is impressed by a sportsmen? An engineer is impressed by a pharmacist? :P I guess that's what kinda fosters competition and that will to do EVEN BETTER, no?
